The 2025 National Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) Coalition Annual Meeting: Moving Forward Together! was held October 15-17, 2025, at the National Habitat Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. This annual meeting served as a pivotal gathering for environmental professionals, HCP practitioners, policymakers, industry leaders, and advocates to come together, share insights, and collaborate on HCP practices and policies.

The 2026 National HCP Coalition Annual Meeting is in Seattle, Washington from October 26-28, 2026.

The National HCP Coalition annual meeting serves as a pivotal gathering for environmental professionals, HCP practitioners, scientists, policymakers, industry leaders, and regulatory agency staff to come together, share insights, and collaborate on HCP practices and policies. This year’s conference theme is Rooted in Science: Connecting Community with Conservation.

Hyatt at Olive 8 Rate: $188 /night (+ taxes) for Standard Guest Room

  • The discounted rate is available the evenings of October 25-29, 2026 (arriving Sun, Mon, Tues, or Wed and departing Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs).
  • This discounted group sleeping room rate is based on Government Per Diem Rate. This rate could change based on new fiscal year government rates starting October 1, 2026.
  • This discounted group block is available to reserve until 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time, Friday, October 9, 2026 (assuming rooms are still available).
  • Limited on-site valet parking is offered through Ace Parking. A discount of $15 off the daily valet parking published parking rate, based upon availability of parking garage. Self-parking may be available nearby at the Hyatt Regency Seattle garage.
  • This $188 discounted rate is available 3 days prior to Oct. 25 and 3 days after Oct. 29 (assuming availability), if you would like to extend your visit for business or personal reasons.

*NOTE: All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by credit card.

To reserve a room at the Hyatt on Olive 8:

Check-out time: 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (local time)

Your hotel reservation also includes:

  • Complimentary standard in-room wireless internet access for all registered guests
  • Discounted valet parking, if space is available
  • Two reusable bottles of water are provided per guest room, per stay.
  • Luggage storage is available for all guests at our Bell Stand located in the Main Lobby next to the Front Desk.
  • No resort or destination fee
  • Group rate offered three days pre/post based on standard hotel group room availability.
  • 10% discount on Elaia Spa services during official event dates.

If you need to cancel your room at the Hyatt at Olive 8, guests may cancel their reservation by 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time 48 hours prior to their arrival. Guaranteed reservations not cancelled within the 48 hours prior to arrival will be billed to the guest credit card on file.

To avoid an EARLY DEPARTURE FEE, at check-in, each guest will have the opportunity to reconfirm their departure date. Any guest departing prior to that date will be assessed a charge of 100% of the rate for each night (including taxes and fees) that the guest is departing early.

Note: All “no-show” reservations will be billed to each individual’s credit card. In the event a guest does not check into their room on the first night of their reservation, this will be considered a “no show”. Client understands that a no show room is released at midnight for all remaining days of the reservation. Reinstatement of the reservation will be based on hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed. All no shows will be charged a fee of one night’s room and tax to the method of payment used to guarantee the reservation (individual credit card or group master account).

Additional information:

  • Hotel is 100% smoke- and vape-free and respecting our policy against all tobacco and non-tobacco products that emit smoke. Should smoking/vaping occur in any of the guest rooms, there is a $250.00 cleaning fee plus applicable taxes, currently at 15.6%.
  • Hotel will charge an additional $25 per night for triple occupancy rooms or $50 per night for quad occupancy rooms (these fees only apply to those aged 18 and older)
  • Current sleeping room rate is based on Government Per Diem Rate, price could change based on new fiscal year government rates starting Oct. 1, 2026

If applicable, attendees should bring their individual tax exemption forms and present it to the front desk staff upon check-in.
