How to Join

Joining the National HCP Coalition is straightforward. Follow these steps to become a member.

Review Requirements

Ensure your organization is involved in habitat conservation planning or related activities.

Complete Application

Fill out our online membership application with your organization’s information.

Submit Documentation

Provide supporting documents demonstrating your HCP involvement or interest.

Board Review

Our membership committee reviews applications and responds within 30 days.

Membership Policy

The National HCP Coalition membership policy will guide the efforts of the Board of Directors to recruit and maintain Coalition members. The National HCP Coalition depends on membership dues for operation of the National HCP Coalition, including responsibilities of the Coalition related to the 501(c)(3) status secured in 2021.

All National HCP Coalition memberships will renew on January 1 and expire at the end of the calendar year. The National HCP Coalition will send out invoices no later than December 15th and encourage renewing members to pay their membership fee within 45 days of receiving their membership renewal notices.

The National HCP Coalition will not prorate membership if a member joins after January

New members who join between September and December when registering for the National HCP Coalition's annual meeting at the end of the calendar year will receive a membership for the remainder of the calendar year and their membership will extend through the end of the following year

Members who sponsor the National HCP Coalition's annual meeting at a platinum level will receive a membership for the following year as part of the membership benefits

All Board members must be Coalition members paying dues at the recommended amount or above

Recommended Membership Dues

The National HCP Coalition recommends members pay dues at the following recommended amounts, although any member may pay more than the recommended amount.
